12 Week ultrasound / Flying J Ranch hike

Filed under: Uncategorized — mtbco @ 2:34 pm

Lisa had an ultrasound on Monday.   Here are some pictures.   I was pretty amazed – our kid looks like a human baby now – just really tiny.

Today we took a hike at Flying J Ranch open space.   It was my first time there.   I really liked it.   It would be a little short for a bike trail, but looked like it would be really fun to take a few laps on.   It was a great place to hike.

White Ranch Hike

Lisa, Sally, and I enjoyed the beautiful weather God blessed us with today by taking a hike at White Ranch.   We did the mustang trail loop.    Here are a few pictures and a video:

It was a good hike, topped off with a slurpee on the way home for me and Sally.

Music Builds Tour / Columbus Day disc golf

Filed under: Uncategorized — mtbco @ 12:51 pm

Mom and Dad visited yesterday and today.   Last night, Mom, Dad, Lisa and I went to the Music Builds Tour at the Broomfield Events Center.   It was fun.   Jars of Clay opened, and they were good.   This was the 2nd time I had seen them.    Next up was Robert Randolph and the Family Band.   They were very entertaining.   I think that was the 4th time seeing them, and I always enjoy seeing the band switch and play each others instruments very skillfully.   Then it was Switchfoot.   Switchfoot was good, but probably my least favorite of the 4 performances.   I hadn’t seen Switchfoot before.   They did put on a very good show.   Last up, was Third Day.   This was my second time seeing Third Day.   They were great.   The set was more off of their new album, Revelation than a greatest hits type set.    I probably would have enjoyed more of a greatest hits set, but it was a great performance and I think I’ll like the new album much more after seeing many of the songs live.

This morning, thanks to a bank holiday for Columbus Day, we played disc golf at the Ken Caryl course.    It was beautiful, and this was a lot of fun.   Here are a few of the best disc golfing pictures.

Mt Galbraith

Filed under: Uncategorized — mtbco @ 5:17 pm

Lisa, Sally, and I did the Mt Galbraith hike today.   This is a local hike just north of Golden.   Weather wasn’t great, but that is ok as it is still fun to get out and hike even in the drizzle.   Here are a few pictures:
